City of Northampton Warming Centers 2024
NORTHAMPTON – It is expected to be extremely cold at the start of the week of December 22, 2024. Warm spaces are available to all at the following locations and times:

The Manna Community Center at St. John’s Church on Elm Street is always open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Manna also provides meals at Edwards Church on Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Northampton Police Department is open 24/7. Individuals are welcome to warm up in the lobby during the coldest nights and days.

The Northampton Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and during the coldest days, individuals are welcome to warm up there. Please be advised the Senior Center is closed on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, and Wednesday, December 25, 2024, as well as Tuesday, December 31, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

Forbes Library is open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Forbes is closed on Sunday.
