In Memoriam – Bernice O’Donnell
NORTHAMPTON – Bernice O’Donnell (Kubera), 88, a long-time resident of Florence, died Friday, Dec. 15, at Baystate Hospital.
Born Dec. 17, 1928, in Whatley, Bernice lived in Hatfield and Florence all her life. She is predeceased by her husband Luke O’Donnell and her five siblings. She is survived by her son Gary O’Donnell and his wife Nam Son, her daughter Sharon Hart and her husband John Workman, her son Jeffery O’Donnell and his partner Michael Buscemi, her son Kenny Kubera, her grandchildren Megan and Michael Hart, and her two great-granddaughters Emma and Isabelle. She is also survived by her brother-in-law James O’Donnell, several nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at Czelusniak Funeral Home Wednesday, Dec. 27, from 4-7 p.m. followed by a private family burial service Dec. 28 at the Mass Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at 10 a.m.
