In Memoriam – Diane “Cookie” Garey

In honor of Diane’s commitment to food security, her friends and loved ones ran a GoFundMe to support the Northampton Survival Center with a gift of more than $3,800.

Diane’s extraordinary life was memorialized by her husband, Larry Hott at her shiva on January 20, 2021.

Northampton Survival Center: ‘You are not alone … we can help’

The Northampton Survival Center distributes free, nutritious groceries to people in Hampshire County who need food. During the first five months of our COVID-19 response, we saw over 1,000 new clients (an increase of 300% over the same time period last year).
