In Memoriam – Richard Moodie

NORTHAMPTON – Richard Campbell Moodie, 64, died peacefully June 8, 2013, at his home, after a brief illness.

Born Feb. 18, 1949, in Northampton, he was the son of the late Eben Moodie and Jane (Pearson) Moodie.

Richard attended schools in Northampton and graduated from Northampton High School. Upon graduation, he served briefly in the military. Richard will be fondly remembered by staff and residents at the former Northampton State Hospital, where he worked for many years before retiring upon its closing.

In Memoriam – Sandra Glass

GLASS, Sandra (Zais) 77, formerly of Northampton and Chatham, died Monday, November 21, at Overlook Masonic Healthcare. Her husband Robert I. Glass died May 29, 2011. She leaves 3 sons Jonathan Glass of Belmont, Scott Glass and his wife Patricia of Sturbridge, and Jeff Glass of Avon, CO; a daughter Dale St.Lawrence MD and her husband Michael of Thompson, CT and 4 grandchildren, Samantha, David, Peter and Andrew. She was born in Fall River the daughter of Louis Zais and Lena (Baker) Zais and lived in Northampton 37 years before moving to Overlook in Charlton in 2007. Sandra also leaves a brother, Robert, and his wife Edith of Kent, Ohio, and a brother Alan and his wife Helen of Fernpark, FL, a niece and three nephews.
